The project should be submitted to the Project Director by the first week of the quarter in which the student plans to defend the project. For example, a student wishing to graduate in the June commencement ceremony should have a completed project to their Project Director by the first week of the spring quarter. Depending on the Project Director’s work load, the Project Director may request the completed project earlier.
After the student submits the completed project to the Project Director, the Project Director should by the fourth week of the quarter notify the student whether the Project is, in its present form, ready for a culminating conversation with the full Project Committee. If it is, then the student and the Project Director will work to schedule a Project Presentation and Culminating Conversation, which should happen no later than the seventh week of the quarter.
