How can I use an "iframe" (inline frame) to ease the student experience in Canvas?

Technically, an iframe is an HTML document embedded inside another HTML document on a website. This element is often used to insert content from another source into a Web page. It basically acts as a window into another bit of content. The familiar surrounding Canvas elements remain in place but students can interact with another page or article as if they were in two places at once.
