Are there book lists for my course?
Your book list should be available from your instructor on Canvas before the course begins, under the syllabus in the canvas page for that course. If there are specific courses you do not see the syllabus for, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org and we can offer further assistance.
Iliff does not operate a bookstore, nor do we have an official agreement with any bookstores. For your courses, you will have to locate/purchase your own books.
Here's a starter list of booksellers:
Tattered Cover: A local Denver-based source for books and e-books. Four Denver and near-Denver locations with author events and wonderful personal service.
Amazon: Large online retailer. Allows options to purchase new or used books, electronic books or textbook rental.
Scribd: Unlimited online access to the world's largest collection of e-books and written works, comics, and audiobooks for a monthly rate. Premium membership options available.
Cokesbury: The retail division of the United Methodist Publishing House. Provides Methodist-specific texts as well as more general Christian resources.
Chegg: Allows you to rent or purchase textbooks. Many are available in an electronic format.
AbeBooks: An online marketplace for buying new, used & rare books.
Half.com: An ebay company. Buy & rent textbooks.
BigWords: A price comparison tool that allows you to find the cheapest books out of many online vendors. You can also use this tool to find the highest price for book buy-back.
