Import Selected Content from One Canvas Course to Another

1. Login to Canvas
2. Go to the Settings area of the course into which you want to import content. Settings is found in the course navigation at the left of the page. 
3. In the Settings area of the course, choose the Import Course Content option from the list of options at the right of the page (might be at bottom of page if your screen is small).
4. From the Content Type box, choose Copy a Canvas Course.
5. Search for or select the course from which you want to import in the Search for a Course box. 
   
   
   
   
6. Choose Select specific content from the Content options and click Import. You will get to select select specific content AFTER you click import. 
   
   
   
   
7. After you click Import, an import job will be listed on your import page, with a Select Content button at the far right. Click on the Select Content button. 
   
   
   
   
8. This will open a window that lists all objects in the course FROM WHICH you are importing. You can select whole categories of objects to import by selecting the box next to a category (e.g. Discussions) or you can use the arrows to expand the categories and select folders or individual items to import (e.g. see the Files example below). Once you have made your selections, click Select Content and the job will be queued to run.
