How to make your required course media available on Canvas.
By federal mandate (HEOA Summary Document - see p. 34-35), we are required to indicate the required media for purchase in all courses offered, long before the start of a term. So, required course media must be made available on the main page of your canvas course by the syllabus deadline listed above. You must include ISBN numbers for each item on your book list.
- Login to Canvas and use the courses menu to get to the main page of your course.
- Click the Edit Syllabus Description button on the right hand side of the page to edit the content of your main course page.
- If there is not already a Required Course Media section on this main page, you can copy and paste the text below and add it to your main course page.
Required Course Media [List of media required for purchase in the course] Be sure to check Taylor Collection @ Iliff, University of Denver collections, and Prospector Union Catalog for access to these required media. If you decide to purchase any or all of these items, some suggested sellers/renters are Scribd, AbeBooks, Amazon, and Google Books.
